Senior Class goes out with a Blast

By Faith Branson

Thursday night on May 14 after the Piqua Showchoir “Just Us” performance some of Piqua High Schools Senior class of 2015 decided to have a “camp out” in the field in front of the football stadium. I was hesitant about staying the night; then at the last minute, I got talked into it by my best friend. Honestly, looking back I think that if I didn’t stay the night then I would of really regretted it. Sure I was tired as all get out for the following day, but it was a blast! I got to stay up late at night into early morning with some friends I haven’t talked to since my freshman year. In my opinion, my senior class is really, “clicky” meaning, that we stick to those who we believe belongs into our group of friends and leave the others out. Most of us would agree with that.

However, that night was the night where we were all one again; just like in elementary school. We played games and just talked about everything and anything. It was definitely something I will remember for a long time to come; also to have this moment just before our last week of school together meant a lot.

After the earlier rise and shine on Friday, May 15 the Senior English classes got to go to the movies in the morning to see the Avengers 2, due to the fact that we were studying epic heroes all year. After we returned, the Seniors got to go to the stadium for the annual Senior week picnic which was filled with laughter upon laughter as we got to experience “Messy Twister” which is just like normal twister but with paint on the dots, and we got to clean off with a huge slip and slide. The past week with the Seniors have been so memorable and fun, just like kindergarden.
